First Medical Camp at Yafe House: A Step Towards Community Care
A few weeks ago, we marked a special milestone at Yafe House—we hosted our very first medical camp, and what a day it was!
With the generous help of local ophthalmologists and physicians, around 70 of our neighbours received check-ups, basic treatment, and eye screenings—right here in our own space. From blood pressure checks to eye care, each visit was a reminder that good health should be within reach for everyone.
It was humbling to see members of our community—many of whom rarely have access to medical services—sit with a professional, ask questions, and receive real care.
This reminded us of something simple but powerful: healing isn’t just something we hope for within Yafe House—it’s something we dream of for the whole community.
We want Yafe House to be a place that radiates wholeness in every direction, where practical love touches every corner of our neighbourhood.
